Lawrence Farms Orchards at Newburgh picks the longest fruit list in this region and adds a vegetable list nearly as long, across a season running from Memorial Day weekend to the end of October.
A farm market with jams, jellies, honey, syrups and salsas, a farm bar, tractor-pulled wagon rides and an information booth.
Open June to October, 9am to 4pm daily. 4pm is the last entry for picking and the farm itself closes at 5pm.
Pro tip: apricots are the rarest thing on this list. They ripen in a ten-day window in midsummer, they bruise if you look at them, and almost nowhere in the Hudson Valley lets the public near them.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
Picking hours from the farm: 4pm is the last entry and the farm closes at 5pm.
