About This Farm
Harbes Orchard on the North Fork grows twenty-seven apple varieties and nine acres of on-the-vine pumpkins, and it is the most expensive picking in this region by a wide margin.

The season runs 29 August to 31 October. The farmstand and barnyard open 10am to 6pm Monday to Thursday, 10am to 7pm Friday and 9am to 7pm at weekends.

Pro tip: three pounds of apples is about eight apples. At $27 a head on a Saturday that is not a fruit price, it is a day-out price, and it is worth being clear with yourself about which you came for.
