Greig Farm

Greig Farm at Red Hook opens every day of the year, nine in the morning until eight at night, which is more hours than any other farm in this region, and it picks something nobody else here does: asparagus.

What You Can Pick

In the farm's own list: "Asparagus, Strawberries, Snap Peas, Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Apples, Pumpkins", every day from May to October.

What Else is Available

A Farm Market and Café, a Barn Taproom, farm trails, a goat feeding area, a koi pond and various shops and galleries on the site.

Good to Know

Open 9am to 8pm, seven days, year round.

Pro tip: pick-your-own asparagus is close to unheard of, because it is cut rather than picked and the window is about three weeks in May. If you are anywhere near Red Hook that month, this is the reason to come.
