Apple Hill Farm at New Paltz opens later than almost anything else in the Hudson Valley: 18 September 2026, three weeks after the early orchards.
Apples, from 18 September. Pumpkins follow.
Open Friday to Sunday, 10am to 6pm. Picking closes at 5pm, an hour before the farmstand.
Hayrides run noon to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday only.

Pro tip: an 18 September opening skips the early varieties entirely and goes straight to the mid-season fruit, which keeps better and cooks better. If you are picking for pies rather than for the lunchbox, later is the right end of the season.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
From the farm, Friday to Sunday. Pick-your-own closes an hour earlier than the farmstand, at 5pm.
