This season
In the orchard's own words: "Mother Nature gave apple farmers some 'tough love' this year! From Virginia to Albany farmers lost most or all of their apples in a deep freeze in April 2026." Apple picking still starts 29 August, and pumpkin picking is starting early.

Apple Dave's Orchards at Warwick is the farm that explains what happened to this whole region in 2026, and it does not soften it: "From Virginia to Albany farmers lost most or all of their apples in a deep freeze in April 2026."
A farm store with pies, doughnuts, jellies and jams, a kitchen in the red barn serving hot and cold food, cider doughnuts and drinks, and a distillery bar open weekends 11am to 6pm.
Free parking in mowed parking fields. Toilets are permanent, with additional portable units during the September and October peak.
Pro tip: this orchard is telling you the truth about the crop before you drive there, which is worth more than a full car park. Take it seriously across the whole region, not just here.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
Distillery hours from the orchard. Apple picking begins 29 August and the orchard keeps longer hours through the autumn.
