Alstede Farms

Alstede Farms at Chester grows the longest pick-your-own list in this region and runs it daily, from strawberries in May to Christmas trees in December.

What You Can Pick

In the farm's own list: "Strawberries, peas, raspberries, blueberries, beans, peaches, blackberries, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, flowers, potatoes, apples, pumpkins, and Christmas trees".

What Else is Available

A farm store, a café, farm animals and hayrides. The farm publishes a weekly circular of what is ready.

Good to Know

Open daily. Rather than fixed crop dates the farm runs a "What Can I Pick Today" page and an Annual Harvest Schedule, both of which are more reliable than any calendar.
