Tuckaway Blueberry Farm

Tuckaway Blueberry Farm is a small Walton County berry farm at Loganville, about forty minutes east of Atlanta, and it runs on the owner's own timetable rather than a published one. Everything about a visit here is announced on the farm's Facebook page, usually the evening before.

What You Can Pick

Blueberries, and nothing else. The field opens at 7am, which is the right hour for it: by the middle of a Georgia morning the heat has taken the pleasure out of picking. You must arrive before 11am, and picking stops at midday.

What It Costs

There is a $5 donation per person to enter, cash only. After that the berries are charged by weight, not by the bucket.

Good to Know

Closing time is not flexible. The farm shuts promptly at midday and says so plainly, so an eleven o'clock arrival gives you an hour rather than an afternoon.
