About This Farm
Buffalo Creek Berry Farm sits east of Athens in Oglethorpe County, and it is the only farm found anywhere on this site picking mulberries.
What You Can Pick
- Mulberries - May and June, and genuinely hard to find
- Blueberries - June into early July
- Blackberries - June into early July
$8 a pound for all of them.

Reservations are required, not suggested. You ring Cameron on 706.201.5553 to agree a day and a time, or book online.
The hours run backwards from most farms:
- Monday to Friday - a long day, 8am to 8pm
- Saturday - afternoons only, from 4:30pm
- Sunday - from 1:30pm
Pro tip: a mulberry does not travel and is almost never sold in a shop. If you have never eaten one, this is the trip to make in late May.
