Beak and Berry Farm

Beak and Berry Farm at Senoia grows three berries without pesticides and gives you the basket to pick into. It is closed until mid-April 2027, and it is worth marking the calendar, because the farm is replanting on a scale that suggests next season will be its best.

What You Can Pick

• Strawberries - mid-April to early June, on raised beds under plastic
• Blackberries - June to July, thornless
• Blueberries - late June to mid-July, naturally grown

Berries are sold by the pound and the farm provides the picking baskets, so there is nothing to bring.

Coming in 2027

The farm is going into next season with 25,000 new strawberry plants, 165 blueberry bushes and 300 blackberry plants. It is also considering adding raspberries, if it can find the right spot to put them, which would make it one of very few farms picking them anywhere near Atlanta.

Pro tip: raised beds mean picking standing up rather than crouching, which anyone who has done a strawberry field the usual way will appreciate. Go in the first fortnight of the strawberry season, when 25,000 plants are all cropping at once.
