About This Farm
Scottsdale Farms works sixty-five acres at Milton in North Fulton, and is far better known as a garden centre with a cafe than as a picking farm. The blueberries are real, but you would not learn that from its own website.
What You Can Pick
Blueberries. The season usually opens in early June and runs to the middle of July.
Good to Know
Ring for an appointment. The farm asks u-pickers to call rather than turn up, and announces its picking dates on Facebook.
The shop and cafe keep long hours seven days a week whether or not anything is ripe: Monday to Saturday 8am to 7pm, Sunday 9am to 6pm.
Pro tip: this is the only picking of any kind inside the Alpharetta and Milton belt, which is why it is worth the phone call rather than the ninety minute drive somewhere else.
