About This Farm
R&A Orchards works a hundred and sixty acres at Ellijay and opens the orchard to the public at weekends only, nine to five, with the last admission sold at 4pm.

What It Costs
The orchard charges admission for picking but publishes no price on its own site. Ring (706) 273-3838 before setting off, because Ellijay admissions across the road from each other run anywhere from $8 to $26.

- Tractor rides out through the 160-acre orchard
- Cow Train rides for children
- Farm shop, open longer hours than the picking
Good to Know
Payment is unusually modern for a farm this size: every major card, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. Most of its Ellijay neighbours are cash or nothing.
Pro tip: the four o'clock admission cut-off is firm, and Ellijay is a ninety minute drive from Atlanta. Leave in the morning.
