This season
There is no blueberry picking at all in 2026. The farm lost most of the crop to a warm spell in early March followed by freezing temperatures. Flower u-pick is unaffected and runs from July through September. Blueberries should return next summer, normally from late June or early July, on evenings announced on Facebook.

Pleasant Union Farm at Canton is the closest picking to Cherokee County and Atlanta's northern suburbs, half an hour out. It runs its blueberry u-pick in the evenings, which is an unusual and sensible answer to a Georgia summer, and opens it as the crop allows rather than to a fixed timetable.
There is no blueberry picking in 2026. The farm lost most of the crop to a warm spell in early March followed by a hard freeze, and has said so plainly rather than letting people drive out and find nothing. The flowers are unaffected.
Picking dates and times are posted on Facebook, or you can join the farm's email list to have them sent to you. There is no published weekly schedule, because the evenings depend on what is ready.
Pro tip: an early March warm spell followed by a freeze is the single most destructive thing that can happen to a Georgia blueberry crop, and it caught more than one farm in 2026. If you are planning a trip anywhere in this region in a year like that, ring first.
