About This Farm
HEMI Blueberry Farm at Greensboro names its varieties, which almost no blueberry farm in Georgia bothers to do, and runs two distinct seasons rather than one.
What You Can Pick
- Blueberries - six varieties: Vernon, Legacy, Brightwell, Camellia, Krewer and Titan. Late May through the end of July
- Thornless blackberries - the same window
- Muscadines - roughly August 15 to September 15
Good to Know
Booking is by phone. The farm asks you to ring and agree a date and a time before coming.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 8am to 7pm, except Saturdays, which start at 1pm. Fruit is sold by volume or weight at market rate, and the farm publishes no figure.
There are restrooms and refreshments for sale.
Pro tip: six named varieties over two months means the fruit tastes different in June than it does in July. Ask which is picking best when you ring: 770-403-7018.
