About This Farm
Rivers' Blueberries on Colony Road is a blueberry patch inside a Rock Hill neighbourhood, a few minutes from Cherry Park, run by the Rivers family. It is the most urban picking field in this region by some way.
What You Can Pick
Blueberries, organically grown, from the first week of July for about four weeks.
Good to Know
The farm provides cups to pick into and plastic grocery bags to carry the berries home, so there is nothing to bring.
Hours are announced at the start of the season on the farm's Facebook page and nowhere else. A four-week window with no published hours means the Facebook page is not optional reading.
Pro tip: this is a neighbourhood patch, not a farm with a car park. If you are used to driving an hour for blueberries, the novelty here is that you can pick a gallon and be home in fifteen minutes.
