About This Farm
Veenstra Family Strawberry Farm on 200th Avenue at Holton opens at seven in the morning, which on a strawberry farm in late June is the whole point: the fruit is cold, the field is empty and the sun is not yet on it.
What You Can Pick
Strawberries, from mid-June to about the first of July. That is a two or three week season and it is the entire year's picking.
Good to Know
Open Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am to 7pm and Saturday 7am to 3pm. Closed Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, which is an unusual pattern and easy to fall foul of.
