Hanulcik Farm Market & Orchard on Dildine Road at Ionia has been growing since 1936, and it picks across a longer stretch of the year than almost any farm in this region: strawberries in June through to apples in October.
The catch is the apple season. The pick-your-own orchard is open on selected weekends only in September and October, not continuously. During peach season the farm asks you to ring (616) 527-3630 to place orders or check picking conditions.
The farm publishes no price. Ring (616) 527-3630 if you need to know before you go.
Pro tip: plums and nectarines are both scarce as u-pick crops in Michigan, where most orchards run cherries then apples. Late July here gets you both.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
