Gull Meadow Farms on Gull Road at Richland sits south of Grand Rapids toward Kalamazoo, and it has built one of the biggest autumn operations in the state around its orchard: more than thirty attractions alongside the picking.
Apples and pumpkins, through the fall season, September 12 to October 31.
The market and the activity area are two different things with two different sets of hours. The market runs Tuesday to Sunday and is closed Mondays; the activity area opens Friday afternoons and Saturdays only, and is ticketed separately.
Summer events run on select dates from July 25, including a balloon festival with its own admission.
Pro tip: buy activity tickets online before you go. This is a farm where the queue is at the ticket window rather than in the orchard.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
Farm market hours. The activity area keeps shorter hours, Friday 4-8pm and Saturday 10am-8pm, and is ticketed separately.
