Farmhaus Farms is on Kenowa Avenue ten kilometres from downtown Grand Rapids, which makes it one of the closest orchards to a major American city anywhere on this site. It is under new ownership and now part of the Farmhaus group, which also runs a cidery.
A bakery, ice cream and a farm market, plus wedding and event space.
Open 7:30am to 6pm on weekdays, 8am to 5pm Saturday and 10am to 3pm Sunday, year round. The half-seven weekday opening is early for a farm market and useful if you are picking before work.
The farm publishes no picking dates, so ring or text 616.320.2269 before driving out.
Pro tip: u-pick plums are genuinely scarce in West Michigan, where almost every orchard runs cherries then apples and skips what falls between.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
Market hours, published as year round. Picking runs inside them in season.
