About This Farm
Ed Dunneback & Girls is twelve kilometres from downtown on 6 Mile Road, and it is the closest picking to Grand Rapids by a comfortable margin. It is also the only farm in this region with a tap room, a bakery and live music on the same site as the fruit.
What You Can Pick
- Asparagus - spring, and rare as a u-pick crop anywhere
- Strawberries - from the middle of June
- Apples and pumpkins - into the autumn
There are no cherries this year. The farm lost the crop to spring freezing, which caught orchards across West Michigan in 2026.

Good to Know
Open Tuesday to Sunday and closed Mondays, with late evenings on Wednesdays and Fridays. Farm-to-table dinners and private events are booked through the farm directly.
Pro tip: asparagus picking is genuinely unusual and it is the first thing open here, well before any fruit. If you want it, ask in April.
