The store opens 9am to 6pm and picking 9am to 5pm. Blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, currants, jostaberries, cut flowers and cherry tomatoes were all open at the time of checking, with apples in September and October.

Russell Orchards at Ipswich picks two things almost nobody in America opens to the public: currants and jostaberries.

The orchard's own site has an Entry Fee page. Its contents could not be read, so assume there is a charge and ring to check.
Pro tip: the jostaberry is a gooseberry-blackcurrant cross that essentially does not exist in shops anywhere. If it is on when you visit, pick it, because you will not get another chance this side of the Atlantic.
