Cider Hill Farm at Amesbury holds 4.8 from nearly two thousand reviewers, the highest score of any large farm in this region, and it publishes the most precise picking calendar here: nine crops, each with its own window.
The farm store opens 8am to 6pm daily. General festival admission is free at its Blueberry and Flower Festival.
If the picking has been picked over, the farm offers the sensible alternative in its own words: "You may purchase quarts of pre-picked berries and blueberry treats in the farm store."
Pro tip: the tulips in mid-April are the thing almost nobody knows about. Cutting your own tulips is a genuinely rare offer and it happens six weeks before the first strawberry anywhere in New England.
We list what we have confirmed. If something you need is not shown, it is worth calling the farm to check.
Our own assessment, scored the same way for every farm on the site, from what each farm publishes about itself. Not a visit, and not a public review score.
