Carver Hill Orchard at Stow publishes the clearest crop calendar of any small orchard in this region, and it is one of very few farms here where dogs are welcome.
Blueberries, peaches and apples are available both to pick and pre-picked in the store.
A country store with a snack window: a donut sundae, apple crisp, ice cream and warm cider donuts.
Open Tuesday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm in July and August, with the store running July to November. Dogs welcome if leashed.
Pro tip: the end-of-June cherries are the shortest window in this region and the one crop here nobody drives out for. Everyone comes in October for the apples, when the queue for the donut window is twenty deep.
