About This Farm
Applecrest Farm Orchards at Hampton Falls is the oldest continuously operated apple orchard in America and the busiest farm in this region, and it has made one significant change for 2026: picking by the pound is gone.
What You Can Pick
- Strawberries - $11.50 a prepaid quart, $7.25 a pint
- Blueberries - $12.75 a prepaid quart, $7.75 a pint
- Raspberries - $12.00 a prepaid pint
- Peaches - $30 a half peck, $45 a peck
- Apples - $35 a peck, $45 a bushel
- Flowers - $1.50 a stem, or $1 a stem for ten or more
Good to Know
In the orchard's own capitals: "PICKING BY THE POUND is NO LONGER AVAILABLE FOR THE 2026 SEASON". You buy a container up front and fill it. Cardboard tills come with the price and $2 trays are available, and you may use your own container if it is weighed first.
Open 8am to 6pm daily, with the creamery to 9pm. After 5pm, picking is prepaid only.
SNAP and EBT are taken at the farmstand only, not at the orchard.
Pro tip: work out the arithmetic before you go. $12.75 for a quart of blueberries is not cheap, and the prepaid model means an unlucky half hour in a picked-over row costs the same as a good one.
