About This Farm
Stade's Farm & Market at McHenry picks the longest list of anything in this region, and most of it is not fruit: alongside the Zestar apples and raspberries you can pick cauliflower, potatoes, onions, cabbage, kohlrabi, beets, zucchini and pickling cucumbers.

Pro tip: the vegetable u-pick is the thing nobody else here offers. Picking your own kohlrabi and pickling cucumbers on the same trip as the raspberries is genuinely unusual, and it makes this a farm for cooks rather than only for children.
