Huber Farms at Union Mills is, on its own account, the only USDA certified organic blueberry farm in northern Indiana, and it picks a second crop most blueberry farms do not: red raspberries in late August.

Pro tip: the raspberries are why this farm is worth a diary note. Almost every blueberry farm in this region shuts in early August, and a certified organic raspberry field opening on the twentieth is the last picking of the summer within reach of Chicago.
