What You Can Pick
Apples and pears, from mid-August. In 2026 the orchard opened u-pick McIntosh on 15 August, with Dutchess and Early Blaze already picking.
What Else is Available
The shop is an 1880s horse barn selling crafts and antiques, and you are invited to sit under one of the oldest and largest maple trees in McHenry County.
Good to Know
Open 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and noon to 4pm Sunday. No dogs in the orchard, for insurance reasons.
Pro tip: Dutchess and Early Blaze are August apples that almost nobody grows any more, because they do not keep and cannot be shipped. This orchard is picking them now and they will be gone by September.
