Garwood Orchards at La Porte picks more different things than any farm in this region, and it does the honest thing about the difference between a market and a field: the market opens six days, the u-pick only three.

Good to Know
U-pick opens Friday to Sunday, 9am to 2:30pm, and is closed Monday to Thursday. The market runs 9am to 6pm. Turning up on a Wednesday gets you the shop and not the field.
There are horse and tractor drawn wagon rides.
Pro tip: a 2:30 close on the u-pick is early and catches people out. This is a morning farm, and the last hour before half past two on a Sunday in October is when the good rows have already been walked.
